OUR CHURCH...
At Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church you will find that we still believe in the " old-time " way. Jeremiah 6:16 says " Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and YE SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS,(KJV). Not many choose to worship this way any more, but we feel like that is the way God wants us to worship Him. We are a small church with a BIG heart. A heart of love and compassion for lost souls and those in need of help. We have a choir if you like to sing for the Lord, a youth program if you have children, and a set of open arms to visitors. We want to be a part of helping you to grow in the Lord. Not by any means a perfect church, just FORGIVEN...PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!!!

OUR PASTOR...
Our pastor is Brother Ted St. John. Brother Ted and his lovely wife Jane have been a part of the Evening Star family for many years. Men of God like Brother Ted are few and far between. God has really blessed the ministry of Brother Ted since he has been at Evening Star. We have really seen the church grow. A growing church must have a shepard to lead it along and carry out a pattern for its direction according to God's word and instruction for the church. You'll rarely find such a man as Ted St. John with a vision for his flock and a compassion for this lost world. The goal of Evening Star is to win this lost world to Jesus before it's too late. We feel like this is being accomplished with Brother Ted. His sermons are spiritual and Bible based( a rarity in the somewhat "Laodicean Church Age" we seem to be living in.) Brother Ted is moving Evening Star in the direction of the brotherly love church at Philadephia. Thank God for such a wonderful Pastor!!! We are truly blessed.
